IBL Bank inaugurates the “Riad Salameh Forum @ IBL Bank”
A platform for dialogue in the fields of economy and banking

On April 14, 2010, IBL Bank inaugurated The “Riad Salameh Forum @IBL Bank”, a platform for discussion on economic, banking and financial topics, in the presence of H.E. Riad Salameh, Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, and in recognition of “his outstanding achievements” to date.
During the launching ceremony held at the forum, and after cutting the ribbon, H.E Governor Riad Salameh thanked IBL Bank’s family and board of directors for their interesting initiative, stressing on his respect and appreciation towards the non-lucrative mission of this forum.
Mr. Salim Habib, chairman of IBL Bank, highlighted that “The Forum aspires at becoming the place where insightful ideas are generated and effective solutions are suggested in order to help position Lebanon at the forefront of economic progress.”
For this purpose, the Forum will hold several conferences related to banking, economy and finance in the presence of prominent speakers and experts who will debate challenges and identify ways to address them and the yearly agenda of the Forum will be announced at the beginning of the year and will cover the conference’s themes.
