Medium to Long-Term Financing
IBL grants its clients facilities to finance all their short-term needs such as Working Capital or Inventory needs. In this regard, a full range of products is offered. The main ones being: Overdrafts, Commercial Lines, Discounted Bills, etc.
Trade Finance
The Bank offers medium and longer-term loans to finance fixed asset acquisitions and projects.
Kafalat Loans & Government Subsidized Loans are targeted for companies operating in the sectors of Industry, Agriculture, Tourism & IT.
Kafalat Loans
• Maximum Amount: USD 200,000 or LBP 300 million
• Repayment period: up to 7 years with 6 months to 1-year grace period
• Interest rate is calculated on the basis of:
LBP: Treasury Bills (1 year) * 40% + 3%
USD: Libor (1 year) + 5.5%
• These loans benefit from interest rate subsidies. The interest rate subsidies are financed by the Lebanese Treasury and administered by the Central Bank of Lebanon.
Subsidized Loans
• This loan could be either in LBP or in USD.
• A Minimum of LBP 50 million or C/V in USD, with a 7-year repayment period and a 2-year grace period.
• Interest rate is calculated on the basis of:
Up to LBP 5 billion or C/V in USD
LBP: Treasury Bills (2 years) - 6%
USD: Libor (3 months)
7% of the interest is subsidized by the State of Lebanon through
the Central Bank of Lebanon.
From LBP 5 billion or C/V in USD
LBP: Treasury Bills (2 years) - 4%
USD: Libor (3 months) + 2%
5% of the interest is subsidized by the State of Lebanon through
the Central Bank of Lebanon.
Loan Syndications: The Bank offers for able projects, loan syndications and longer-term (more than seven years) funding facilities with the consortium of other Banks.
